Scrapboutique Monthly Challenge

Only managed to get one of the three challenges done for February.
It was about the love we share with someone and to use the quote "Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a fairytale".

Another first for me. We could use any sketch from #193, 194, 195 or 196.
I used #195.

My first time doing this challenge.
We had to use Turquoise, "love" in the title and chipboard.

Sketches With a Twist

This is my first time doing a layout for this challenge blog.
We had to use a sketch and something green. I used green paper.
I decided to cut out the swans for something a little different.

Papercraft Show

The Papercraft Show was held at the RNA this past weekend and I did a couple of classes.
The first one was with the lovely Louise Nelson. This class sure took me out of my comfort zone! All messy and anyone who knows me knows I don't like dirty fingers and hands! After saying that it was a fabulous class and I really learnt something.
Have been looking at Lou's work for a while and thinking how much I loved it. Once you know how to do it it's quite simple and easy BUT still messy, LOL!!
I am quite pleased with the way this layout turned out and think I will be using the technique more often.
We used card, vellum (remember that?), wire, spay mist, paint, gesso and stamping.

Also did a class with Jane Clark, making four cards. I also learnt a new technique here as well.

We used chippies covered in calico and then made a mask and stamped over the chippie.

I have been meaning to do a MME Card sketch for a while now and have finally done one with only a short time left to upload it.

Crafty Sketches

It's a long time since I have done a Crafty Sketches sketch. Now that I'm more organised I have a list of challenges I want to do for the month and cross them off as I go. Found it's working so far! I had spent quite some time not doing any scrapping at all so thought I should get back into it.

The White with 1 challenge this month is White with Lemon and a minimum of three photos. Didn't think I had anything to do this challenge but was surprised when I started hunting around as to how much I did have.

The February challenge was a sketch. By the way I was really excited to be the winner of this challenge last month. Have ordered my goodies so will be stalking the postie!

Prima January BAP

I've done the Prima BAP again. I'm so happy with the way this LO has turned out. I used lots of stamping and bits and pieces.
