Ngaire' classes and some CC Layouts

I went and did two classes today with Ngaire Bartlam and we all had a fantastic day!!
Thanks Ngai! The photos I had printed out didn't quite go with the layouts so have to find some more. However the layouts are finished except for the photos.
Next weekend Kylie, Laurelle and I are going to the Gold Coast to do classes with Ngaire, Jill GG and Tamar from Tarisota. Am sooo looking forward to that!

These are a couple of the challenges I did for the Scrap with V CC last weekend. The first one is the DT ONLY challenge. My goodness the criteria was a bit on the heavy side!! An iron-on motif, 5 buttons, piece of felt, some lace, hand stitching or hand drawn stitching, at least 3 handmade flowers, use old bra hooks and eyes and at least 3 different types of fabric.
I managed to fit it all in plus some!


This second layout was Kim's challenge and we had to use all fabric and no paper or cardstock. We could use C/S to mount the background fabric onto.

My Mojo is Missing!

Since I returned from holidays I just can't seem to get back into scrapping! I did a layout today for the Scrap with V Cyber Crop that was held last weekend. It's the DT only challenge and boy did I have a hard time with it. I still have four challenges to do but they will have to wait until next week.
I'm going to two classes tomorrow that are being taught by the lovely Ngaire Bartlam so, I'm hoping that will give me some inspiration to do more. I have a pile of other challenges on my to-do list as well.
The Lake Keepit Retreat is on again at Gunnedah this year and am waiting to hear if there are any spaces left. Went last year and had a great time even if it is a long drive but was very enjoyable.

Not a Good Blogger.....

lately!! I arrived back from my cruise on Sunday 21st March and have been quite ill with influenza A!!! I took to my bed for about ten days and am now only just starting to get on top of it. I was pretty sick on the flight back and had to be carted off the aircraft in a wheelchair. Normally I would have been a little embarassed about it but fortunately I couldn't have cared less. DH wanted to take me to Emergency but all I wanted to do was get in my own bed...lol!!
I took lots of photos and am hoping to upload a few here soon. One of the highlights was going on the rapids in the Philippines...fantastic fun!
Did some shopping in Singapore and Hong Kong but didn't go silly with it all.
Had all my money stolen in Vietnam so that put a little bit of a dampner on it!
Haven't felt like doing any scrapping since arriving back but will have to get on to it today or tomorrow.

Oh My God!! How divine is it all and I don't have time to play with it before I go. Sooo sad!! Have just gone through my BIG box full of stuff and I'm really drooling! LOL!
