White with 1

The March challenge at White with 1 is white + kraft + layering.
This layout is very different for me and I just love the way it turned out.

Our Cyber Crop was on this past weekend and I was away on a retreat...AGAIN! Lol!
This is the only challenge (Sunday Roast) I managed to get done because it was on Sunday night after I arrived home. I was all scrapped out but got it finished.

I absolutely adore this sketch and will have to use it again sometime I think!
I took this photo at the Butchart Gardens on Victoria Island, Vancouver, Canada. They are the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen any where. As usual when on day tours you never have enough time to visit so, I intend going back there some day.

The Color Room #102

Oh gosh! These were definitely not my colours this week but was determined to go out of my comfort. The last couple of weeks I've done cards but thought I'd do a LO this week.

My Mind's Eye Card #33

For this challenge we could use a theme of our choice. I cut all these little hexagons out and stuck them to the background of my card then went around them with a pen.

Loved the colours this week but actually found them hard to work with. Maybe because I used the Kraft colour for the base of the card.

The papers I used for this card I just love...that's why I did a card because I need to keep them!! Lol!!
I may do a layout for next week.
Took me ages to make this card and there are about ten layers but am happy with the result.

Chicks in Pink

Was just reading the forum at Scrap Therapy and found this for Saturday 17th March. Anyone in Brisbane who can go I think would be great. Sounds like a fabulous day/night.

"Hi ladies, I'd like to extend an invitation for you to attend our fundraiser for 'chicks in pink' who offer support to breast cancer patients through the Mater Foundation.

When: 17th March 2012, 9:00am to 10:00pm

Where: Parklands College, Hillcrest Road, Park Ridge, Queensland

Description: A full day of scrapbooking in aid of supporting chicks in pink, a program of Mater Foundation, including numerous demonstrations and classes, with a variety of lucky prize draws. Participants will be provided with lunch and snacks throughout the day, a coffee van will be available for the purchase of drinks and a gold coin donation sausage sizzle available in the evening.

Cost: $25 for the day including lunch and snacks.

Scrapbooking and cardmaking classes run throughout the day (additional cost).
